Are your products cruelty-free and vegan?

Yes! Every product we use in-salon and sell is cruelty-free and vegan. We only source products from vegan companies and will never, ever use anything tested on animals.

 

What is the difference between cruelty-free and vegan products?

Cruelty free means that a product hasn’t been tested on animals. A cruelty free product doesn’t mean that it is automatically vegan, as a cruelty free product can contain animal derived ingredients. A vegan product means that it has no animal derived ingredients, which is also not tested on animals.

 

Can I buy any of your products in store?

If you would like to browse our products in person, please visit us at our salon. We also offer in-store pickup as a shipping option for online orders. We are located at 129 Princes Way, Drouin, Victoria, Australia.

 

What are your payment options?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and Afterpay. If you choose in-store pickup, you can also pay cash for your online order.

 

What is your returns policy?

Notifying us of your intent to return any goods for change of mind, within 14 days after receiving your order, can be done by either calling us on (03) 5625 5203, or emailing us at info@thatveganhairdresser.com. Please retain your proof of purchase, as your order number is required as part of the returns process. Please note that without prior contact of intention to return, this can result in delays of processing your request. This policy is in addition to your statutory rights if a product is found to be faulty or defective.

Please ensure that the returned goods parcel is sealed properly, along with a copy of your proof of purchase. We recommend that the parcel is sent with a signature upon delivery, to ensure it reaches us. You should retain the delivery receipt in order to provide proof that the goods have been returned, in the event that we do not receive the returned parcel. We cannot accept liability for lost in transit of your returned goods.

Refunds will be processed within 3 business days of receiving your returned goods, provided they are in their original condition, unused. If you have requested an exchange or replacement, this will also be processed within 3 business days of receiving your returned goods and will be sent via standard delivery.

Please note that refunds are to the value of the returned goods only, less any shipping costs unless a product is deemed faulty or defective.

 

What are the shipping and handling rates?

We currently only ship within Australia, with shipping rates calculated at checkout based on order weight and destination location. Prices start from $8 AUD. Orders can be placed online and picked up in-store free of charge. Orders over $150 AUD will receive free standard shipping.

 

Which countries do you ship to?

We currently only ship within Australia. From another country? Let us know by filling out the contact us form and we will look at shipping to your country in the future. For custom orders over $150, shipping and handling rates can be calculated for overseas customers. Please contact us for more information.

 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We aim to process all orders within 2 business days, unless otherwise stated or due to holiday periods. You should expect to receive your parcel within 7 days of parcel pickup. All of our packages are shipped from our location in Drouin, Victoria. 

 

Am I required to be fully vaccinated to attend an appointment at your salon?

The government has removed the vaccine mandate, you are welcome to visit our salon regardless of your vaccination status.
