Salon Policies

At That Vegan Hairdresser, your appointments are very valuable to us. We have scheduled this time just for you, to visit our wonderful team. We understand that life is busy, so balancing your schedule means sometimes adjustments need to be made! As such, we respectfully request that a minimum of 48 hours notice is provided for cancellations and modifications to services.


COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement:

Due to government mandate all clients must be fully vaccinated to attend the salon (unless medically exempt) from 1st November 2021 (subject to reaching 80% vaccination milestone). If you have an appointment booked after this date and are unable to meet this requirement, please contact us to cancel. Failure to do so before your appointment without proof of vaccine or medical exemption will forfeit the 50% reservation fee. Thank you for your understanding for a decision that is out of our hands.


Confirmation Reminders:

We send a reminder email 1 week before your appointment, you can confirm your appointment via this email. A reminder text message will be sent 3 days before your appointment with an option to confirm by completing a form, you must confirm or alternatively reschedule your appointment when you receive this text message. If no response is received, you may be called by a member of our team. If we cannot confirm your appointment time with you, that will be treated as forfeiting your appointment and fees are applicable.


Booking Reservation Policy:

For all clients, new and returning, making a booking for any service, we kindly request a reservation fee equaling 50% of the appointment scheduled, redeemable on the day of your service. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment and provide minimum 48 hours notice, this fee will be transferrable to your next appointment. If you cancel or reschedule your booking within 48 hours, your reservation fee will be retained as a cancellation fee. If no reservation fee has been paid, an invoice for 50% of the scheduled appointment will be incurred and must be paid before any future bookings can be made.


Modification to Services:

If you already have an appointment booked with us and decide you’d like a different service done, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice to modify your service. For example, if you have a full head of foils as well as a haircut booked and decide you’d only like to get the haircut done, we kindly ask for 48 hours notice to modify this service to just a haircut. Failure to notify us of a desire to change services may incur a cancellation fee totalling 100% of the cancelled service.


Online Booking:

We require a 50% reservation fee (redeemable on your service) for all online bookings, which can be paid via credit card online. Please contact us if you are having trouble making a payment. All reservation fees must be paid within 60 minutes of making the booking to secure your spot.


Early and Late Arrivals:

We love that our guests love to relax and have a complimentary drink from our menu, so arriving 10 minutes prior to your appointment to enjoy is encouraged! To ensure our cozy space can maintain the relaxing vibes, if you have arrived earlier than 10 minutes to your appointment, we encourage you to visit the lovely shops on the main street to fill the time before your scheduled time with our team. We want to ensure that we have enough space for our guests who may be booked in ahead of you!

We understand that sometimes the traffic isn’t in your favour, which can result in you arriving late to your appointment. To ensure your stylist can keep as close to schedule as possible for all appointments, arriving later than 15 minutes may result in your appointment being a modified service depending on the time allocated, or rescheduled where fees may apply.
